Monday 9/14 - Thursday 9/17

 Learning Target: Students will be working to create a classroom learning community. Students will be working to get better at essential reading, writing, and analyzing skills.

QOD: In 2019, which NBA player broke Wilt Chamberlain's record for most consecutive games with a triple double?

Circle: What is your favorite show to watch on TV?

Five Things: Individually, students will be making a list of their five least favorite foods. They will then be sharing out in groups and as a class. 

Classroom Rules: Students will be working together in small groups to come up with a list of classroom rules and expectations. We will then be making a master list as a class. 

Importance of Sports: Students will be reading a short article on the positive impacts sports have on student athletes. We will then be having a class discussion on the impact sports have had on everyones lives.

Personal History: Students will start jotting down notes on their own sports histories.

Exit Ticket: What is one thing you are looking forward to about this school year? What is one thing you are concerned about? 


Virtual: Students who are online for this class period will be filling out a get to know you survey on Google Classroom.
